The Sundae Jacket has been with Story mfg. since the very start, it's hand woven and hand dyed to create the checked pattern and then garment dyed with natural indigo. It’s got a boxy fit, buttons on the front and two pockets.

Fabric & Process Story:
The capsule is made using surplus handwoven fabric originally produced in Thailand. Rather than letting this fabric go to waste, it’s been reworked into the Blue in Green limited collection.

Each piece has been overdyed in natural indigo, creating a rich, translucent indigo layer. Natural indigo works more like a coating than a synthetic dye, it sits on the surface of the garment and evolves beautifully with wear.

Why Natural Indigo Matters:

• Traditionally used for hundreds (if not thousands) of years
• Antimicrobial and antifungal properties
• Historically worn by Japanese firefighters as it is flame retardant
• Refreshes and revitalises garments over time
