A 1953 model made of 1.1mm thick horsehide leather. The brown vegetable-tanned hide is repeatedly coated with black aniline dye to create a deep, rich tone. A wax finish adds water resistance, unique luster, and promising aging characteristics. The lining is made of a warm striped blanket.
