The Tompkins sweatshirt series, which was regrettably discontinued due to the retirement of the craftsmen, has been revived.  To recreate this rare fabric, a new LOOP & WEFT Old Sinker Sweatshirt was created at a knit factory in Wakayama, using an old sinker knitting machine from the 1970s and special know-how.

The fabric inherits the unique fluffy texture of the Tompkins sweatshirt, while also possessing the beautiful loop structure characteristic of sinker machines and excellent fabric stability that resists deformation after shrinkage and wear. It overcomes the disadvantages of older knitting machines, such as fabric distortion and unstable shrinkage rates after washing, resulting in an evolved original brushed fleece. The texture, reminiscent of vintage sweatshirts, develops more character with age and wear, and the moment you put it on, you'll experience the unique fluffy, warm, and comfortable feel of this special fleece fabric.
